Clubstep

Clubstep is one of the most iconic official Geometry Dash Demon levels, featuring tight ship tunnels, deceptive obstacles, gravity-switching gameplay, and fast-paced rhythm platforming that has challenged players for years.

A classic Demon challenge

Released as one of the first official Demon levels in Geometry Dash, Clubstep is significantly more difficult than the earlier main levels. The challenge comes from tight spaces, complex manoeuvres, and very limited reaction time. Players must quickly adapt to changing game modes while avoiding spikes, saws, and hidden traps that are designed to mislead them.

One of the level's most famous mechanics is the use of fake spikes, fading spikes, and fading blocks. These obstacles often appear identical to real hazards, forcing players to rely on memorization and careful observation rather than reflexes alone.

Constant gravity and mode changes

Clubstep keeps the gameplay fresh by switching between multiple forms throughout the level:

  • Cube: 0-25%

  • Ship: 25-33%

  • Cube: 33-43%

  • Ball: 43-51%

  • UFO: 51-56%

  • Ship: 56-58%

  • Cube: 58-64%

  • Mini Ship: 64-68%

  • Mini UFO: 68-73%

  • Ship: 73-82%

  • Mini Cube: 82-85%

  • Mini Ship: 85-90%

  • Mini Cube: 90-94%

  • Mini Ship: 94-100%

Frequent gravity portals, jump pads, and jump rings make precise timing essential, especially during the ship sections where gravity alternates rapidly.

Secret coin locations

Clubstep contains three secret coins, and collecting all of them while completing the level unlocks an additional UFO reward.

First coin - 9%

As the cube, hit the second jump ring in the diagonal set of three rings to enter a hidden passage and collect the coin before returning to the main route.

Second coin - 71%

During the mini UFO section, immediately fly into the alternate upper passage and carefully navigate between the fading spikes to reach the coin.

Third coin - 96%

In the final mini ship section, fly downward through the opening inside the first demon structure to collect the last coin.
