Quantum Processing GD

Quantum Processing GD is a brutal Extreme Demon adventure with tight waves, tricky duals, and precise timing. Master every move and conquer obstacles.

An Introduction to Quantum Processing GD

Quantum Processing GD is an Extreme Demon (10★) level inspired by Blast Processing but redesigned with dramatically increased difficulty. Nearly every section demands precise control, quick reactions, and excellent memorization.

Unlike many modern Extreme Demons that rely heavily on visual effects, Quantum Processing focuses on technical gameplay. Every click matters, and even the smallest mistake usually ends the attempt instantly.

Key features include:

  • Tight wave gameplay

  • Difficult dual mechanics

  • Complex ship flying

  • Heavy memory sections

  • Numerous fake orbs and jump pads

  • Frequent gravity changes

These mechanics have made Quantum Processing GD one of the most respected community-created levels in Geometry Dash history.

Quantum Processing GD Gameplay

Opening Cube Section

The level begins with a cube sequence featuring several difficult jumps over spinning cogwheels and a yellow jump pad. Shortly afterward, players encounter multiple blue orbs while avoiding deceptive green orbs placed as traps.

A mini portal briefly changes the cube size before another series of orb timings and a challenging triple-spike jump.

The introduction finishes with an orb maze where players must remember exactly which orbs to activate before entering the first wave section.

Before attempting Quantum Processing GD, you can practice its timing and precision with Acropolis GD. A challenging level that helps improve control and accuracy for harder Extreme Demons.

Precision Wave Challenge

The first wave is one of the hardest parts of Quantum Processing GD.

You must guide the wave through extremely narrow passages filled with cogwheels and tight gaps. Halfway through, the gameplay switches into a demanding dual wave where both icons must be controlled simultaneously.

To increase the difficulty even further, fake guide lines appear throughout the section, forcing you to rely on practice instead of visual instinct.

Ship and Ball Gameplay

After completing the opening wave, the level transitions into a precision ship sequence.

You must fly through four narrow pillars before entering a difficult ball section filled with repeated timing patterns.

The gameplay then continues with:

  • A mini ship flying through another set of pillars

  • A ball section containing fake jump pads

  • Misleading orbs mixed with required orb activations

  • A final timing challenge before the next transition

The segment ends with the message "GO!" appears on the screen.

Mid-Level Difficulty Spike

The second wave introduces even tighter spaces than before.

Although the layout resembles the first wave, smaller corridors and longer dual sections significantly increase the challenge.

After leaving the wave, you enter another cube section featuring:

  • Precise orb timings

  • Cogwheel jumps

  • Spike corridors

Consecutive timing challenges

Every transition requires complete concentration, leaving little room for recovery.

UFO, Ship and Final Cube

The second half of Quantum Processing GD combines nearly every gameplay mechanic introduced earlier.

You face:

  • A difficult UFO section filled with spikes

  • Multiple gravity portals

  • A narrow ship sequence

  • Ball gameplay with fake slopes and orbs

  • Another challenging UFO section

  • Straight-flying ship corridors

The level concludes with a cube section containing several large spike jumps and accurately timed blue orbs.

Before reaching the finish, players must complete one final memory puzzle by remembering which blocks to jump from and which orbs to activate.

The last obstacle is a famous triple-spike jump. As players approach the finish line, the words "YOU WIN" appear in the background before the level ends with a yellow jump pad.

Trivia About Quantum Processing GD

Quantum Processing GD has a fascinating history within the Geometry Dash community.

Some interesting facts include:

  • Originally built during Geometry Dash Update 1.9.

  • Planned to be verified by Riot but remained unfinished for years.

  • Eventually verified by Rampage after more than two years.

  • Once ranked #7 on the Geometry Dash Demonlist.

  • Rampage considered it worthy of the Top 5 hardest Demons at the time.

  • Inspired by a sequel called Quantum Dynamix, an even more difficult remake of Electrodynamix.

  • A parody version titled Quanteuse Processing was also created.

  • If you fail on the final triple spike, the background text humorously changes from "YOU WIN" to "YOU LOSE."

Later, the release of newer Extreme Demons pushed Quantum Processing GD onto the Legacy List, but it remains one of the most influential custom levels ever created.
